What is a LULA Elevator?

A Limited Use/Limited Application (LULA) elevator is a type of lift designed for low-rise buildings where space and usage do not justify a full-sized commercial elevator. LULA elevators are commonly installed in schools, libraries, churches, and small office buildings, providing accessibility to people with disabilities and improving overall mobility within the building. These elevators typically travel no more than 25 feet and have a smaller cab size compared to standard elevators, making them a cost-effective and space-efficient solution for buildings with limited elevator needs.
